Business contacts & marketing outreach

This section explains how Alistar Europe SIA, trading as Kronitek, processes business contact information when we reach out to companies about our food-processing machinery. It applies to the professional contacts we email as part of our B2B outreach.

1. Who is responsible for your data (controller)

Alistar Europe SIA (trading as Kronitek)
Registration No. 40103695236 · VAT LV40103695236
Siguldas road 11, Bergi, Ropaži municipality, Latvia, LV-1024
Privacy contact: privacy@kronitek.com

We have not appointed a statutory Data Protection Officer. Privacy questions go to the address above.

2. What information we process

For business outreach we process business contact data only: your name; your professional role or job title; your work email address; and your employer’s name, country and business sector. We do not process special-category data, and we do not process personal or home contact details for this purpose.

3. Where we obtained your data

We did not collect this information from you directly. We obtained it from publicly available professional and business sources, which may include company websites, publicly available business directories and industry listings, and reputable B2B contact databases and data-enrichment or verification services. We use these sources to identify food processors whose operations may benefit from our machinery.

4. Why we process it, and our legal basis

We process this data to introduce Kronitek’s food-processing machinery to businesses whose operations are likely relevant and, where there is interest, to discuss throughput, payback and financing. Our legal basis is legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Direct B2B marketing is expressly recognised as a legitimate interest (Recital 47). The legitimate interest we pursue is generating qualified, relevant business-to-business sales conversations for our equipment, contacting professionals in roles for whom the product is directly relevant, at low volume. We have carried out a legitimate-interest assessment and consider that our interest is not overridden by your rights; you can object at any time (see section 7).

5. Who we share it with

We share business contact data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract and appropriate safeguards: our email delivery and mailbox platforms, our workflow-automation provider, our CRM, and our meeting-scheduling tool. Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States); where that is the case, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

6. How long we keep it

We keep prospect business-contact data for the duration of the relevant outreach campaign plus 12 months, after which it is deleted or its retention is re-justified. Opt-out or suppression records are kept permanently but minimally (for example, a hashed email or do-not-contact flag), solely so that we can continue to honour your objection.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing (Article 21). An objection to direct marketing is absolute: once you object, we stop permanently and across all future campaigns. To exercise any right, or to opt out, email privacy@kronitek.com or use the one-click unsubscribe in any message.

8. Complaints

If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you can complain to a data-protection supervisory authority. Our lead authority is the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija), www.dvi.gov.lv. You may also complain to the supervisory authority in your own country.
